THE ST. MARK'S BOOKSHOP READING SERIES AT SOLAS

The St. Mark's Bookshop Reading Series at Solas (that's our favorite bar around the corner) features the same eclectic mix you'll find in the bookshop's stacks. You'll see some of the best poetry, fiction and contemporary thought the East Village has to offer, two Thursdays a month. All readings begin at 7:30 PM, sharp. Thursday, September 4th Featuring poets Lisa Jarnot (Night Scenes) with Stacy Syzmazsek (Emptied of All Ships). Thursday, September 25th With Ben Greenman (A Balloon is a Circle and Compass Both) and Justin Taylor (The Apocalypse Reader) . ____ Readings on the horizon Thursday, October 2nd With Joshua Clover (The Totality for Kids), Simone Muench (Lampblack and Ash) and Philip Jenks (My First Painting Will Be "The Accuser").
